We are seeking a board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens coverage in Woonsocket, RI. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking flexible scheduling in a high-acuity, community-focused environment. Coverage is needed beginning ASAP and ongoing for 26 weeks (flexible).
Job Details:
Setting: Acute Care Hospital (Trauma Level III); Nationally recognized Certified Stroke Center
Location: Woonsocket, RI
Schedule: Full-time; 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM); Nights are required, but some days may be accepted
Additional Coverage: Three mid-level shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM, 11:00 AM–11:00 PM, 1:00 AM–1:00 PM); Night scribe support from 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
EMR System: Epic
Requirements:
Board Certification: ABEM required (no exceptions)
State License: Rhode Island license required (IMLC accepted; willing to license)
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Certification (free online course)
Experience: Prior Epic charting experience required
