Locum Emergency Medicine Physician Needed in Southeastern Ohio! Let's connect!

ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum coverage at a facility in southeastern Ohio. This physician-led organization offers a collaborative environment and flexible scheduling for providers able to commit to a minimum of 5 shifts per month. The role includes working in busy, well-supported emergency departments with strong APP coverage and administrative support.

Dates / Schedule:

• Start Date: After completion of minimum 90-day credentialing process

• Schedule: Minimum 5+ shifts per month (12-hour shifts)

• Coverage: 24 hours/day of physician coverage and 36 hours/day of APP coverage

• Availability: Must be available for nights and weekends

Job Details / Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency medical care in a 16-bed ED with an annual volume of approximately 27,000 visits.

• Collaborate with APPs and administrative staff to ensure quality, patient-centered care.

• Use Meditech EMR for all documentation and clinical management.

• May work as a Full-Time Employee (FTE) or Independent Contractor (IC) based on preference.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Board Certified in Internal Medicine/Family Medicine with EM experience — Required

• Active Ohio Medical License or IMLC with proof of LOQ within 3 business days of acceptance — Required

• COVID-19 Vaccination — Required

• Certifications Required: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Medicine experience — Required

• Clean background — No exceptions
