Optigy is seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum coverage in Meridian, MS. This role offers flexible scheduling and an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department within a well-respected health system.
RequirementsActive Mississippi medical license
Active MS DEA
Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM), Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
Completed ACGME or AOA-approved residency program
Active clinical practice within the past 12 months (exceptions may be reviewed by the PEC & MEC)
Deliver high-quality emergency medical care to patients of all ages
Maintain accurate and timely medical records
Collaborate with nursing and ancillary teams to ensure efficient patient flow
Provide leadership and clinical excellence consistent with hospital standards
Daily overtime applies after 12 hours; weekly OT after 168 hours
