Job Description
Locum Emergency Medicine opening in Athens, Ohio. This role is open to ABEM-boarded EM physicians or IM/FM physicians with strong Emergency Medicine experience. Work in a physician-led environment with APP coverage and modern EMR.
Position Details

24 hrs/day physician coverage (12-hour shifts)

36 hrs/day APP coverage

EPIC EMR

No overtime

Medical staff fees not reimbursed

Lodging booked through designated travel desk
Job Responsibilities
Provide clinical care in a 22-bed Emergency Department
Diagnose and treat acute and emergent conditions
Work collaboratively with APPs and clinical staff
Utilize EPIC for documentation and orders
Maintain accurate charting and medical decision-making
Comply with hospital policies and credentialing standards
Requirements
Must be available for nights and weekends
Malpractice included in all-inclusive rate
Active OH license or IMLC (LOQ proof required within 3 business days)
COVID vaccination required
ABMS/AOA Board Certification in EM or IM/FM (no exceptions)
2+ years recent EM experience
Must have ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, NRP
Clean background required
