Specialty: Emergency Medicine
Start Date: January
Contract Length: Ongoing
Shift Details: Day and Night 12 hr shifts
Schedule: 7a-7p ; 7p-7a
Work Details:
Support staff: 24/7 physician presence; APC coverage around 16 hours daily
Amount of coverage needed per month: 4-10 shifts per month.
Patient volume: Average around 60 patients per 24 hours.
70% urgent care, 30% Emergency Medicine. Nights will be very slow, maybe 1 patient per hour.
Department description: Free-standing hybrid ER/Urgent Care
On-site labs, X-ray, and CT imaging available

Hospital bed size: 12 ED beds

Requirements:
Board Certification: BC/ BE ABEM, BC -FM, and IM will be considered if EM trained and ATLS, ACLS, PALS
License required: Kentucky
DEA: Yes

Certifications required: ACLS, PALS, NRP
Minimum experience required: 1-2 years
