JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active Texas Medical License (required)
- Board: Board Certified preferred (ABEM, ABFM, or ABIM accepted)
- DEA: Active DEA (required)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred
- Experience: Prior Emergency Medicine experience required
- Other Qualifications: Ability to function independently in a high-volume emergency setting
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide emergency medical care and stabilization to patients in the Emergency Department
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a full spectrum of acute and emergent conditions
- Collaborate with nursing, specialists, and ancillary staff to ensure patient safety and timely care
- Document all clinical encounters accurately in EMR system
- Participate in continuous coverage rotation as part of flexible scheduling model
