PATIENT INFORMATION
- Patient Demographics: All ages (Pediatrics through Adults)
- Patient Volume/Census: TBD
- Admissions: Yes Emergency Department
- Rounding: Not required
- Phone Consults: As needed
- Case Mix: General Emergency Medicine, including trauma and urgent cases

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Rate: TBD Daily rate with overtime
- Overtime: Daily OT after 12 hours (differential); Weekly OT after 168 hours (fixed)
- Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES
- General Emergency Medicine procedures (including adult and pediatric cases)
- Trauma and acute care stabilization
- Intubations, central lines, and cardiac/respiratory management
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active North Carolina license required
- Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics
- DEA: Active DEA with NC address required
- Certifications: ACLS & PALS required for non-ABEM providers
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience within the past 3 years (completion of EM residency within 2 years qualifies)
- Other: Must provide CME from past 2 years, medical diploma, intern/residency certificates, and 2 references for presentation
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide full-scope Emergency Medicine coverage
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and emergent conditions
- Collaborate with APPs and hospital staff for coordinated patient care
- Document all encounters accurately within the EMR
- Participate in trauma response and stabilization
