- Rounding: Included as needed

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active Mississippi medical license / IMLC required
- Board: Board Certification not required; must have completed a 3-year residency (will accept 1-year post-graduate training if Boarded)
- Boards Accepted: EM, FP, IM (except residents); ABEM exempt; ABPS and AAPS not accepted
- DEA: Pending DEA accepted
- Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year post-residency training preferred
- Other Qualifications: Proof of immunizations and recent PPD or QuantiFERON required; must pass criminal background check;
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide emergency medical care for all patient presentations within the Emergency Department
- Perform assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for acute and urgent medical conditions
- Collaborate with Advanced Practitioners and other hospital staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the facility EMR system
- Participate in departmental quality and compliance initiatives
