Coverage Details:
• Coverage needed per month (24hr / hourly shifts / shifts + call, etc): 12hr shifts 8p-8a
• Frequency of any Call needed: No
• Schedule Details: (start / end times, days of the week, etc): 8p-8a
Work Details:
• Support staff: 1 APP 7A-5:30P Mon-Fri
• Department Description: 86 bed hospital includes 8 ICU beds and open ICU
• Patient Volume: daily census 35 patients, 2 day time hospitalists 1 nocturnist at night. 5-8x admits per day, solo coverage.
• Patient Age Group: Largely adult and geriatric
• EMR/Documentation System: Meditech Expanse
• Special Procedures/Unit Details: preference for intubations, vent management
Requirements:
• Are Board Certifications Req’d?: BC EM required if training was completed more than 5 years ago. (No FM trained doctors).
• Which State License(s) Req’d?: MO required
• Certifications Req’d? (BLS / ACLS / etc): ACLS, BLS
• Specific Skills Req’d?: intubations, vent management
• DEA Req’d?: Yes also MO BNDD is required
• Minimum Experience Req’d (# of years): None
• Are vaccines mandatory?: Declinations are allowed
• Any additional requirements/details to screen for?: clean history; must meet criteria for temp privileges.
Credentialing/Privileging Timeframe: 30-45 days if physician has clean history

Which travel is billable (airfare / hotel / rental car / mileage / etc): airfare, rental car, mileage, fuel; we make housing accommodations, however, prefers local candidates if at all possible
