- Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 3 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours only. This emergency medicine opportunity is seeking board-certified or board-eligible providers (within five years) with ABEM or ABEOM certification, as ABIM and ABFM will not be accepted. Providers must hold an active CA license and have at least two years of recent hospital clinical experience in emergency medicine, with any gaps over three months requiring explanation. The position guarantees eight hours per shift, with overtime applying after 12 hours (though it is not expected and must be pre-approved by the medical director). Only providers available for night shifts will be considered, and 1–3 providers are needed based on availability. The average patient volume is approximately 110 in a 24-hour period. Case logs must be included for surgical specialties. Multiple open shifts are available throughout January, with schedules subject to change based on coverage needs.

Job Responsibilities
