Locum Emergency Medicine (MD/DO) - El Paso, TX
Position Highlights:
- Annual ED Volume: ~42,000 visits
- ED Beds: 38 ED beds and 8 fast track beds
- Compensation: $300-$315/hour, paid weekly
- Travel & Lodging: All expenses covered (flights, hotel, rental car, or mileage reimbursement)
- Malpractice: Fully covered
- Schedule: 10 hours
- Start Date: ASAP or by January 1, 2025
- Minimum 4 shifts/month
Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency care for adult and pediatric patients
- Collaborate with NP/PAs and specialty consultants
- Deliver care in a fast-paced, modern ED
- Support continuity with inpatient and ICU teams
Qualifications:
- MD or DO - ABEM/ABIM/ABFM BC/BE
- Active Texas license
- BLS, ACLS, DEA required
- If not EM-boarded, must have ACLS, ATLS, PALS and 2 years of ER experience
