Coverage Needed:
- Start Date: December
- End Date: Ongoing
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7:30 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:30 PM - 7:30 AM
- Specific Dates: AM (7:30 AM - 7:30 PM) on 16, 29, 30; PM (7:30 PM - 7:30 AM) on 23, 26, 27
Clinical Details:
- Emergency Department with 15 total beds
- Approximately 22,000 visits per year
- Average number of ED Patients/Day: 63
- Average number of Admissions/Day: 11
- Level II Trauma Center
- EMR: EPIC
- Support Staff: 1 MD 24/7, 1 APP every 12 hours
- 24/7 Hospitalist programs (Med-Peds)
- 24-hour Radiology and Surgical Services available
- Ortho available 4 days/week
- Cardiology on site 2 days/week
- Critical Care via telemedicine
- Psychiatry available
Requirements:
- ABEM certified physician
- Will accept EM physicians and IM/FM physicians with emergency medicine experience
- Required certifications for IM/FM: ACLS, ATLS, PALS (no exceptions)
- Active NC license and DEA
- Board certification at the time of name clear
- Three completed references worked with in the last year with dates
