Job Details
- Location: North Carolina
- Start Date: Dec 16, 2025
- LOA: 6 weeks
- Provider Type Needed: Emergency Medicine Physician
- Schedule: December Shifts—AM (730a-730p) on 16, 29, 30; PM (730p-730a) on 23, 26, 27. Ideally six to twelve 12-hour shifts per month.
- EMR: Epic
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide emergency medical care to a diverse patient population in the ED
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and urgent conditions
- Stabilize patients and coordinate care with consulting specialties
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as indicated
- Document all encounters and treatments using Epic EMR
- Adhere to best practices in emergency medicine and facility protocols
Additional Information
- Must have active North Carolina medical license
- Board certification required in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
- Must have completed ED inpatient shifts within the last 12 months
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
