Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician – Rural WA Hospital
Location: Washington (Rural Setting)
Start Date: December 2025 / January 2026
Contract Length: 3–6 Months
Opportunity Overview:
We are seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a 3–6 month locum assignment at a rural hospital in Washington State. This is a great opportunity for physicians who are comfortable working independently in a low-volume, high-autonomy environment.
Position Details:

Shifts: 16-hour shifts

6:00 AM – 10:00 PM or

2:00 PM – 6:00 AM (exact schedule dependent on client needs)

Patient Volume: 1–6 patients per 24-hour period

Patient Population: Pediatric through Geriatric

Support: No APP support
-
Other Duties:

No rounding required

Sole provider coverage

Requirements:

Board Certification: Required

Licensure: Active Washington State medical license

Certifications:

ACLS and BLS required
-
ATLS required
-
PALS preferred

Background: Must have clean background for credentialing
