Job Title: Emergency Medicine Physician – Locum Tenens (Nights Needed Most)

Position Overview:

We are seeking Board-Certified (or truly Board-Eligible) Emergency Medicine physicians to provide locum tenens coverage at a Level 3 Trauma Center in Oregon starting January 2026. We're looking to fill 30+ shifts per month, with a strong preference for night shift coverage.

There is flexibility in scheduling, and we are open to shorter shift schedules depending on provider availability.

Schedule & Shift Details:

• Coverage Need: 2–3 providers total to fill 30+ shifts per month

• Shift Options:

  • Night Shift: 11:00 PM – 6:00 AM (some shifts may end closer to 7:00 AM)

  • New 12-Hour Shift Option: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

• Flexible Scheduling:

  • Open to partial availability (e.g., 1 night + 3 day shifts per week)

  • Shorter shifts may be considered

Work Details:

• Average Patients per Shift: 16

• Trauma Level: 3

• Support Staff: Yes – robust clinical support

• EMR: Epic
  

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Required (or truly Board-Eligible within 5 years of residency)

• Licensure: Active Oregon medical license required

• Certifications: ATLS required

• Credentialing Timeframe: Approx. 90 days
