Position Overview
A community hospital in North Carolina is seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine physician (or IM/FM trained with current ED experience) to provide 12-hour emergency department coverage. This is an excellent opportunity to join a newly renovated ED with strong inpatient support and a dedicated fast-track unit.
New providers are required to arrive the day before their first scheduled shift for orientation.

15-bed ED (newly renovated)
Minor Emergency fast-track (12 hrs/day)
81-bed hospital | Acute inpatient census: 47
Annual ED visits: ~27,000
Primary Stroke Center designation
Practice Setting: Inpatient ED only
Orientation: Required the day prior to first shift
Pay Ranking: This package ranks in the Top 25% nationally for community Emergency Medicine locums compensation
Skills & Experience

ABEM Certified OR IM/FM with recent emergency medicine experience (inpatient ED required, last 12 months)

Certifications (IM/FM only): ACLS, ATLS, PALS (AHA only)
