Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens (Georgia)

12-Hour Shifts | 6-Month Assignment

We are currently seeking Emergency Medicine physicians for a 6-month locum tenens opportunity in central Georgia. This is a great fit for board-certified EM, FM, or IM physicians looking for a well-supported, community-based ED with a flexible schedule and competitive compensation.

• Shifts: 12-hour blocks 7am7pm or 7pm7am
• Volume: ~82 patients per day
• Annual ED Visits: ~29,800
• Admission Rate: Only 5.1%
• EMS Mix: 9.3%
• Call: None
• Beds: 14-bed Emergency Department
• Support: 24/7 APP coverage (NPs/PAs scheduled 9a9p & 12p12a)
• EMR: EPIC

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 6 months with option to extend
• Flexible commitment: minimum of 5 shifts/month
• Privileging: ~60 days (no expedited)
• Travel & lodging: Available
• Malpractice with tail: Provided

• Board Certification in EM, FM, or IM (ABEM, AOBEM, ABFM, or ABIM only)
• Active Georgia license required
• ACLS & PALS certifications
• Recent ED experience in a similar volume setting
