Job Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality emergency care to pediatric patients in a high-volume setting (~55,000 annual visits)
• Collaborate closely with subspecialty teams including PICU, CVICU, NICU, and hospitalists to manage complex cases
• Work alongside a strong support team including child life specialists and pediatric social workers dedicated to ER presence
• Engage in bedside teaching and supervision of Pediatric, Emergency Medicine, and Family Practice residents from six programs
• Participate in training and didactic sessions for Pediatric ER fellows if desired
• Benefit from full scribe coverage to optimize patient care and documentation
• Work fair, balanced shifts with the potential for overtime if desired

• Experience a rich mix of pathology and patient acuity in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
• This is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required.

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
• Fellowship trained in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
• Nevada Medical License or eligibility to obtain
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active)
• Clean malpractice and medical license history (highly preferred)
• Prior experience preferred but not required

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine (required)
• Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship (required)
• Nevada Medical License or eligibility to obtain (required)
• NPDB Self Query Report (required)
