Emergency Medicine Locum Physician | $300/hr | Multi-Site ED Coverage | Ohio
📍 Locations: Meigs, Gallipolis, Jackson, OH
💵 Compensation: $300/hr
📅 Start Date: ASAP after credentialing (45–60 days)
🕒 Schedule: Minimum 5 shifts/month (8–10 preferred) | 12-hour shifts

Join a physician-led Emergency Medicine team providing flexible locum coverage across multiple ED sites in Southeast Ohio. Physicians will work in both freestanding and main ED environments, delivering comprehensive emergency care with APP support and manageable patient volumes.
📅 Coverage Details

Meigs Freestanding ED: 25–35 patients/day
-
24-hour physician coverage (8a–8p & 8p–8a)
-
Mid-level support 12p–12a
-
No admissions (transferred to Gallipolis main site)

Trauma cases routed to tertiary centers
-

Cross-Coverage: Required across Meigs, Gallipolis, and Jackson EDs

Responsibilities: Independent documentation, ED codes, patient care across varied settings
⚕️ Candidate Requirements

Board Certified (ABMS/AOA) in IM or FM – REQUIRED
-
Ohio License OR IMLC with LOQ (within 3 days of submission) – REQUIRED
-
Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, NRP – REQUIRED

2+ years of recent EM experience – REQUIRED

Nights & weekend availability – REQUIRED

COVID vaccination – REQUIRED
