- Job Title: Physician Emergency Medicine
- Job Type: Locum Tenens
- Location: Horizon City, TX
- Service Setting: Inpatient Emergency Room
- Schedule: August 1, 2, 16, and 17, 2025 | 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
- Start Date: August 1, 2025
- Reason for Coverage: Supplemental
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Rate: TBD
- Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance - Covered
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Accepted Specialties: Emergency Medicine (ABEM, FP, or IM)
- Licensure: Texas License and DEA required to start
- Certifications: ABEM or AOBEM; ACLS, ATLS, and PALS if not EM Boarded
- Experience: Must be board certified or board eligible within 7 years of residency completion
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide emergency medical care at the assigned facility
- Work a flexible schedule across day, evening, and night shifts
- Collaborate with APPs and other staff to provide timely and high-quality emergency services
- Maintain documentation within Epic EMR system
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and emergency medicine standards
