Perm Role: Emergency Medicine Opportunity in Athens, OH – $250/hr 1099 | $240/hr W2 + Night Shift Bonus!

We’re seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine physician (or FM/IM physician with significant EM experience) to join a growing, physician-led emergency department team in Athens, Ohio. This is a full-time, permanent role in a 22-bed ED with an annual volume of 28,000 visits, offering competitive compensation, flexible scheduling, and your choice of W2 with full benefits or 1099 with guaranteed shifts.

• 📍 Location: Athens, OH

• 🛏️ Emergency Department Details:

  • 22 beds

  • 28k annual volume

  • 24 hrs/day of physician coverage (12-hour shifts)

  • 36 hrs/day of APP coverage

• 🧠 EMR: EPIC

• 💼 Employment Options:

  • 1099: $250/hr

  • W2: $240/hr + benefits

  • +$10/hr bonus for night shifts

• 👥 On-site admin support + physician-led environment

• Locums-to-perm candidates accepted

✅ You Must Have:

• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine or FM/IM with 2,000+ hours of EM experience

• Active Ohio medical license (or in process)

• DEA (must be obtained before start)

• Clean malpractice & licensing history

• Proof of COVID vaccination

• List of ED procedures performed – required

• Not accepting new grads or visa candidates
