Job Opportunity: Locum to Perm - Physician in Emergency Medicine

Join Our Team in Devils Lake, North Dakota!

We are seeking a dedicated Physician specializing in Emergency Medicine to join our dynamic team at a Level II Trauma Center in Devils Lake. This opportunity not only provides locum coverage for approximately 6 months but also includes the potential for a permanent position. The facility utilizes EPIC as its EMR system and accommodates a patient volume of about 1.4 patients per hour. Comprehensive travel, lodging, and car rental are covered for non-local providers!

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients of all ages.
• Perform essential procedures including intubation, chest tube insertion, central line placement, and procedural sedation.
• Handle OB/GYN procedures and deliveries as needed.
• Effectively respond to adult and pediatric resuscitation emergencies.
• Collaborate with other medical staff to ensure smooth operations within the department.
• Maintain patient records and documentation in the EPIC EMR system.
• Participate in orientation and training as needed.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM).
• Current certifications in PALS, ATLS, and ACLS.
• Active North Dakota medical license.
• DEA Registration.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Must hold a current and active ND medical license.
• Board Certification (ABEM) is required.
• Valid DEA registration must be presented.
• Current certifications in PALS, ATLS, and ACLS are mandatory.
