- 24–26 hours/day physician coverage (8–9 hour shifts)
- 8 hours APP coverage on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday
- Must be willing to work both day and night shifts
- 24 hours/day scribe coverage
- Annual ED volume of approximately 15,000 visits
- Specialty: Emergency Medicine (ABEM, ABEM PEDS, or osteopathic equivalent)
- Level IV Trauma Center
- 16 ED beds, with 4 designated for lower-acuity cases
- Subspecialty coverage in Cardiology, Imaging, Gastroenterology, Oncology, Orthopedics, Pulmonology, Urology, and Stroke Center services
- EMR: Cerner
- In-person EMR training required prior to first shift (coordinated by PCC; privileging not required before training)
- Active Texas Medical License required
- DEA with Texas address required
- Board Certified in ABEM or ABEM PEDS (or osteopathic counterpart) required
- Residency trained in certified specialty required
- ACLS, ATLS, and PALS required
- ABEM PEDS physicians must have current ACLS, PALS, and one-time proof of ATLS
- 8 hours of Stroke CME and 8 hours of Trauma CME required annually
- Must have a clean file
- Provide CME from the past 2 years
- Provide case logs from the past 2 years
- Provide copies of all education and training diplomas
- Provide Social Security card
- Provide driver’s license
- Provide color photo emailed to MSO
- Provide immunization records for TB, Flu, Hep B, MMR, and Varicella
- Facility: The Hospitals of Providence Sierra Campus
- Facility has over 350 beds
- Specialties include heart care, neuro/brain services, back and spine surgery, and more
- Serving the southwest communities of El Paso for over 35 years
