Job Title: Locum Physician – Emergency Medicine
Location: 41861 Pomeroy Pike, Pomeroy, OH 45769
Facility Type: Emergency Department (non-trauma center)
Employment Type: Locum Tenens
Job Responsibilities
Support Staff:
On-site Physician 24/7
Mid-level provider (12 PM – 12 AM)
Admissions: Handled by hospitalist team at Gallipolis
Trauma: Not a designated trauma center; traumas transferred
Must be booked by client/facility
Qualifications
Board Certification: Must be ABMS/AOA Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (No BE)
Licensure:
Must have active Ohio license, OR
IMLC with LOQ within 3 business days – Required
COVID-19 vaccination: Required
Certifications Required:
ACLS
BLS
PALS
ATLS
NRP
Working Hours
Work Schedule:
Shift Type: Nights and weekends
Shifts per Month: Minimum 5 shifts (preferably 8–10)
Shift Times:
Physician coverage 24/7 (8 AM – 8 PM, 8 PM – 8 AM)
Mid-level (APP) available 12 PM – 12 AM
Weekend Coverage: Required
OT Policy: Not offered
