Job Title:
Physician – Emergency Medicine (Locum)
Location:
Bay City, MI, USA
Remote: No – onsite only
Job Responsibilities
Patient Volume: ~1.8 patients/hour (~80 patients/day total)
Support Staff:
APP coverage (12 hours/day)
Full ED nursing and tech staff
Full lab and radiology available
Credentialing & Health Requirements:
Clock-In System: Kronos (reverse billing – no paper timesheets)
Flu Vaccine (2024–25 season) – Required
COVID-19 vaccine or formal declination – Required
TB test: 2-step or Quantiferon – Required
Other Immunizations: Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Tdap – Required
Qualifications
MI medical license (must be active at time of name submission)
Board Certified only (BE not accepted)
Specialties accepted: EM, IM, FM (with 2+ years recent ED experience)
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS – Required
Clean background – Required
Local candidates only – strongly preferred
Working Hours
Start: February 2025
End: May 2025
Potential Extension: Through June 2025 and beyond
Shift Details:
9- or 10-hour shifts (12-hour shifts may be available)
Strictly onsite – no call duties
Holiday Pay: 1.5x
Overtime Pay: 1.5x
