Location: Emergency Department, Whiteriver Indian Hospital, Whiteriver, AZ

Patient Volume: ~40,000 ED visits annually

Shift Coverage: 365 nights/year including weekends and holidays

Shifts Available:

07:00–19:00
-
09:00–21:00
-
10:00–22:00
-
15:00–03:00
-
20:00–08:00
-
🩺 Core Responsibilities
-
Provide direct emergency care for adults and children
-
Manage patients in ED and inpatient ward overnight (17:00–07:00)
-
Respond to hospital-wide Code Blue alerts
-
Handle full spectrum of cases, including complex and urgent care
-
Conduct exams, diagnostics, treatment planning, and referrals
-
Maintain medical records and comply with CMS, EMTALA, and Joint Commission standards
-
Participate in teaching activities as needed
-
Collaborate with allied health professionals
📋 Qualifications
-
Board certified/eligible in Emergency Medicine OR Board certified/eligible in Family/Internal Medicine with 1.5+ years ED experience
-
Active, unrestricted license (any U.S. state/territory)

BLS
-
ACLS
-
PALS
-
ATLS
-
-
Preferred: ABEM/AOBEM certification due to limited clinical backup
-
Must obtain WRSU clinical privileges prior to patient care duties
