🚨 Locum Tenens Opportunity – Emergency Medicine Physician
📍 Park Rapids, MN | Starting September | Ongoing Assignment
✨ Position Overview
🩺 Role: Emergency Medicine Physician (Locum)
📅 Schedule: 8–10 shifts per month
🕒 Shift: 12-hour shifts
❌ Call: None
🏥 Setting: Inpatient – Emergency Department
📊 ED Volume: ~10,000 annually
💻 EMR: Meditech
🧑⚕️ Support Team: 2 RNs + 1 CNA
🛠 Responsibilities & Requirements
✅ Standard ED coverage – no procedures required
📈 Avg. 1–2 admissions/day (hospitalist support in place)
🎓 Certifications:
✔️ Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (or FM/IM with ED experience)
✔️ ATLS preferred – CALS with trauma experience accepted
🧾 Licensure:
✔️ Minnesota License preferred
✔️ IMLC accepted with LOQ in hand
🕒 Credentialing Timeframe: 90–120 days
⚖️ Malpractice: Clean preferred
✈️ Travel & Lodging
🏨 Lodging provided – preferred hotel available in town
🌍 All travel considered – local candidates preferred
