Emergency Medicine Physician – Locum Tenens Opportunity
We are seeking a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician for a Locum Tenens assignment with a high-performing emergency department. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, dependable, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Position Details:
- Setting: Inpatient Emergency Medicine
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Ongoing (long-term need)
- Shift Schedule:
- Night: 7PM – 7:00 AM
- APCs on site daily from 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
- Physician locums may also cover APC shifts as needed
- Support Staff: Number TBD, collaborative team environment
- Orientation: Full orientation required prior to first shift (Mon–Fri)
- Call: No call responsibilities
Practice & Facility Info:
- Work Environment: Inpatient only
- EMR System: Cerner
- Telehealth: No
- Malpractice: No providers with current or pending malpractice claims will be accepted
- Credentialing: Temp privileges available for candidates with a clean file
- Certifications Required:
- AHA ACLS
- AHA BLS
- AHA PALS
Upcoming Assignment Dates:
- August 29: Orientation during the day
- August 29–31: Night shifts
- September 5–8: Night shifts
- September 18: Mandatory shift (11 AM – 11 PM)
- September 19–20: Optional (11 AM – 11 PM)
