Full time
A high-volume, tertiary-level emergency department in Springfield, Missouri is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join a hospital-employed group serving as a regional referral center and Level I trauma facility for Missouri and surrounding states.
Position Highlights:
* Level I Trauma Center with over 80,000 annual ED visits
* 80-bed emergency department, including an 11-bed pediatric ED staffed by pediatric subspecialists
* 13 physician shifts daily with 9-hour shift structure (7 hours of patient care + 2 hours for wrap-up = on-time departures)
* Dedicated trauma, stroke, neurology, orthopedic, OB, and ICU in-house coverage 24/7
* ED ultrasound (Sonosite), MRI, and CT readily available
* EPIC EMR with Microsoft DAX voice-assisted charting for efficiency
* Hospital-employed model with equal parity, scheduling, and vote from day one
* No partnership track or buy-in required
