Full time
An established health system in Springfield, Missouri is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join a thriving, hospital-employed group. This is a level I trauma and tertiary referral center, serving patients across Missouri and Arkansas, and is recognized as one of the busiest EDs in the Midwest. Emergency Department Highlights:
* 886-bed tertiary care facility serving as a trauma and referral center for four states
* 80,000+ annual ED visits
* 80-bed emergency department, plus an 11-bed pediatric emergency department supported by most pediatric specialties
* 13 physician shifts per day; 9-hour shifts (7 hours patient care, 2 hours wrap-up for reliable end times)
* Full access to ED imaging including Sonosite ultrasound, MRI, and CT
* EPIC EMR and Microsoft DAX for streamlined documentation
* Over 600 employed physicians across all specialties, including comprehensive support from:
* Neurology/stroke team
* Trauma/general/orthopedic surgery
* Anesthesiology
* Critical care
* OB hospitalists
* Additional lower-volume shifts available at regional locations for a change of pace
* Recognized in the top 5% nationally for clinical excellence by Healthgrades
* Leapfrog Grade A for safety and quality
Position Offers:
* Guaranteed minimum of \$292/hour in the first year
* \$100,000 recruitment bonus plus paid relocation assistance
