Locums – Emergency Medicine – Bowling Green, Kentucky 1-Year Assignment | All Shift Coverage | EM Residency Required

Join a well-supported Emergency Department in a non-trauma facility offering a full year of locums coverage. This is an excellent opportunity for board-certified EM physicians—including new grads—to work in a collaborative, moderate-acuity setting.

Position Highlights:

• Start Date: ASAP

• Duration: 1 year

• Schedule: Morning, Mid, and Night shifts (12 hours each)

• Orientation: 2 days of shadow shifts for EMR training

• Setting: Non-trauma center with 211 total beds

• Facility Accreditations: Chest Pain Center, Stroke Center

• Patient Volume:

• Average ED Census: 100 patients/day

• Annual ER Admissions: Approx. 3,650

Staffing: 1 EM Physician + APPs; support from nurses and techs

Average Acuity Level

Duties:

• Standard emergency department procedures

• No trauma responsibilities

Requirements:

• Board Certified (Emergency Medicine preferred)

• EM Residency Trained – Required

• ATLS Certification – Required

• Will consider FM/IM physicians with strong EM experience

• Open to new graduates
