Emergency Medicine opening - Grundy Center, IA Position Details

  • Full-time Emergency Medicine opportunity with flexible scheduling to allow for work life balance
  • Supportive and collaborative team environment
  • On-site Primary Care Clinic with 3 physicians and 3 APPs who respond to codes and provide support as needed
  • Nurses are specially trained in emergency care for both adults and children, including trauma and resuscitation
  • Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
  • Schedule details: - 1.0 FTE = 144 hours per month - Twelve 12-hour shifts per month - Approximately 75% of shifts in Grundy County - Approximately 25% of shifts in Waterloo/Marshalltown
  • Exposure to a variety of practice settings across three hospitals
  • Flexibility to work less than 1.0 FTE, if desired
  • Evaluate, interpret and coordinate information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
  • Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
  • Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
