StaffMed Health Partners has partnered with a leading healthcare system to recruit ABEM Board Certified/Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians for a modern ED offering strong clinical support, competitive compensation, and a balanced work environment.

Located approximately one hour from both New Orleans and Baton Rouge, this position offers flexibility in where you live. Many providers commute from surrounding metro areas while enjoying a community-based practice with manageable traffic and strong local support. Position Highlights
- Annual ED volume: ~35,000 visits
- 17-bed Emergency Department with a dedicated Fast Track
- Daily patient census: 80–120 patients
- Admission rate: 13%
- Scribes available to assist with documentation
- EMR: MediTech
- Modern facility with strong operational and specialty support
- Physician coverage: 36 hours per day using 12-hour shifts
- APP coverage: 36 hours per day using 12-hour shifts
- Overlapping coverage throughout the day supports efficient flow and patient care
- ABEM Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABEM only)
- Current ACLS and PALS certifications
- Active, unrestricted Louisiana medical license and DEA
