Build your Emergency Medicine career in a high-volume, well-supported Emergency Department in Southern Louisiana with convenient access to both New Orleans and Baton Rouge. - 17-bed Emergency Department with dedicated Fast Track
- Daily patient census of 80 to 120 patients
- Admission rate of 13 percent
- Physician coverage of 36 hours daily with 12-hour shifts
- APP coverage of 36 hours daily providing strong team support
- Overlapping coverage model to optimize patient flow and care delivery
- EMR system: MediTech
- ABEM Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Current ACLS and PALS certifications
- Active Louisiana medical license and DEA or ability to obtain
