We are actively seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine provider to support three Emergency Departments across southeastern Ohio. This is an outstanding opportunity for board-certified physicians in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (ABMS or AOA certified) who have current Emergency Medicine experience and flexibility to work across multiple sites.
Job Responsibilities
No trauma designation – trauma cases are transferred.
Providers are responsible for managing ED codes.
Qualifications
Board Certified in IM or FM (ABMS or AOA only) – REQUIRED
Active Ohio medical license or IMLC with LOQ proof within 3 business days – REQUIRED
Current certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, NRP – REQUIRED
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Medicine experience – REQUIRED
Must be available for nights and weekends.
Working Hours
Shift Schedule:
First ED-
24/7 physician coverage: 8a–8p and 8p–8a
Mid-level support: 12p–12a
Patient volume: 25–35/day
Second ED-
Standard emergency coverage
Coverage Expectations:
Minimum of 5 shifts per month required, preference for 8–10.
Must be available for night and weekend shifts.
All documentation managed individually by provider.
