Job Summary:
Valley Regional Medical Center is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in the South Padre Island area.Qualified Candidates:
- Must be ABEM BC/BE Emergency Medicine
- 1099 Independent Contractor Status
- Up to 120 hours per month available
- Malpractice coverage
- Flexible scheduling
- Travel covered for block of shifts
- 45,000 Annual volume with steady growth
- 2.2 patients per hour
- 36 hours of physician coverage per day
- 36 hours of APP coverage
- 22 bed Emergency Department
- Level III trauma center
- Primary Stroke Center
- Primary PCI
- 24 hours of Intensivist and Hospitalist coverage
- Dedicated Women's Center with dedicated L&D ED
