This facility is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details and requirements for this opportunity: Will need temps - please only present physicians with a clean NPDB/file.
Ask to is provide coverage at regional hospitals in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. Mostly single coverage with some shift overlap. Double coverage with two APCs. Admission rate is about 20%. Over 20 shifts/month open. Flexible with the number of locums. Two smaller hospitals are critical access within thirty minutes.
For providers that love the outdoors, this is a dream gig! The Northwoods of Wisconsin are full of lakes, hiking, birdwatching, snowshoeing, downhill and cross country skiing, ice fishing, etc.
Act 10 acceptable.
Dates needed are 12/7, 12/9, 12/23, 12/24, 12/25, 12/26, 12/27, 1/1, 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/9, 1/10, 1/11, 1/14, 1/15, 1/16, 1/23, 1/24, 1/25, 1/26, 1/29, 1/30, 1/31, 2/2, 2/3, 2/4, 2/6, 2/7, 2/8, 2/13, 2/14, 2/15, 2/16.
· Annual volume: 12,000
· Physician shift times: 5p-6a
· NP/PA Coverage: Yes; Midlevel shift times; 8a-8p and 11a-11p
· Back up specialties available: Anesthesia, General Surgery, Lab, Operating Room (OR) Response Time, Orthopedic Surgery, Radiology
· Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic
· Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Life Support (PALS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS
