Emergency Medicine Physician – Locum Tenens Opportunity

We are seeking a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician for a long-term Locum Tenens assignment with a high-performing emergency department. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, dependable, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Position Details:

• Setting: Inpatient Emergency Medicine
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: Ongoing (long-term need)
• Shift Schedule:
  • Day: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Night: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
  • APCs on site daily from 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
  • Physician locums may also cover APC shifts as needed
• Support Staff: Number TBD, collaborative team environment
• Orientation: Full orientation required prior to first shift (Mon–Fri)
• Call: No call responsibilities
• Holidays Covered: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve (half day), and Christmas Day

Practice & Facility Info:

• Work Environment: Inpatient only
• EMR System: Cerner
• Telehealth: No
• Malpractice: No providers with current or pending malpractice claims will be accepted
• Credentialing: Temp privileges available for candidates with a clean file
• Certifications Required:
  • AHA ACLS
  • AHA BLS
  • AHA PALS
  • ATLS (preferred but not required)
• Travel: Covered (via CWA)
