ER Physician - Jackson, Ohio

Holzer Meigs, Gallipolis, and Jackson EDs are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine provider. Providers must commit to a minimum of 5 shifts a month, with a preference for 8-10 shifts. You are encouraged to submit your provider to all three sites.

Shifts and Volume: - Shifts: 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. or 8 p.m. - 8 a.m. - Annual Volume: 18,527 (15-20 patients per shift per provider) - Total Number of Beds: 11 - Fast Track in ED: Yes - Percent of Total Hospital Admissions Received from ED: 17% - Percent of ED Patients Admitted to the Hospital per Day: 17% - Percent of ED Patients Transferred per Day: Less than 7%

Requirements: - Must be available for nights and weekends - Ohio State License required; will accept IMLC with proof within 3 business days of job acceptance - COVID-19 Vaccination - Required - Must be boarded ABMS/AOA IM/FM; other certifications not accepted - Certifications Required: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, NRP - Must have 2+ years of recent experience

Additional Information: - No trauma level designation - EMR: All Scripts/Paragon - Will oversee APPs - ED Physician writes orders for admissions - Deliveries sent directly to Labor and Delivery - Consultants available: Radiologist, Cardiologist, Pulmonologist, Gastroenterologist, Urologist, Hematologist/Oncologist
