Practice:
Boards: Must be ABEM
Certs: NIHSS Stroke Cert, PALS, BLS, ACLS, 3 Peer References
Creds: 60 days (Temps available)
License: Must have a CA license
Coverage:
Annual ED Visits: 20,579
MD Coverage: 24 Hours
Shift Length: 12 Hours
APP Coverage: 10 hours
MD Supervisor of APP Required: YES - Independent NP (no supervision), FNP- will require supervision
Fast Track: 4 beds. First 4 beds will become fast track. Outside in the lobby is triage only
Admission Rate: 4%
Peds: Yes, except when pediatrician is on call
Admitting / Bridge Orders: Abbreviated bridge orders
Floor Codes: Yes and will perform intubations
Radiology Read: Wet reads, view images in the ED
CT/UltraSound: 24/7
MRI: During Day Hours
Hospital Beds: 30
ED Beds: 12 (all private rooms)
Heli Service: EM Landing pad to transport
