Nocturnist Emergency Medicine Opportunity in Augusta, Georgia
Location: Augusta, GA
Position Type: Full-Time, Nocturnist
Accepting 2026/2027 Candidates
Hospital Details:
- 231-bed hospital
- 40-bed Emergency Department
- Annual ED Volume: 73,000 visits
- Level II Trauma Center
- Primary Stroke Center
- Largest Burn Center in the U.S.
- 24/7 Hospital Medicine Program
- Fast Track available
- EMR: Meditech
Emergency Department Coverage:
- Daily Physician Coverage: 58 hours
- Daily Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) Coverage: 70 hours
- Acuity Level: Medium
Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency medical care as a nocturnist within a high-volume, high-acuity setting
- Collaborate with a comprehensive team of physicians, APCs, and nursing staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient flow efficiency during overnight shifts
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Active ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
