Locum Emergency Medicine Physician (No Call)
Shift Times:
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
About the Opportunity:
Hospital is seeking one or two qualified Emergency Medicine physicians to provide locum coverage in our Emergency Department. This is a flexible opportunity to supplement your income by picking up approximately 2-6 twelve-hour shifts per month. There are no on-call responsibilities associated with these shifts.
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing high-quality emergency medical care to patients of all acuity levels in the Emergency Department.
- Performing patient assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans.
- Stabilizing and managing acute and critical illnesses and injuries.
- Collaborating effectively with nurses, other medical specialists, and hospital staff.
- Documenting all patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the Epic EMR system.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) in Emergency Medicine.
- Active and unrestricted medical license in OR.
- Experience working in an Emergency Department setting.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage a wide range of emergency medical conditions.
Call Responsibilities: No call coverage is required for this shift-based position.
Shift Commitment: Flexible, with the opportunity to pick up 2-6 twelve-hour shifts per month.
