DATES NEEDED Emergency Medicine

- Coverage needed starting 5/9- 5/11 8a + sporadic weekend coverage moving forward.
- Shift Details: Call coverage; in-house/or 30 min response time from Hospital.
- Setting: Critical Care Access Hospital
- Patient volume: 40-45/month
- Required procedures: Casting, suturing, ability to read CT/X-ray’s/ US (possible TeleRad)
- Provider will be working solo with nursing staff. The provider will have access to e-Emergency (hospital-based telemedicine emergency support service).
- CT/Xray inhouse.
- Provider needs to be comfortable with management and stabilization/treatment of single or multiple trauma including perforation of thoracic or abdominal viscus. Management and treatment of medical emergencies including cardiac arrest, acute CHF, respiratory failure, acute GI bleed.
- Management and treatment of OB emergencies including precipitous delivery, hemorrhage, ectopic pregnancy, spontaneous bilateral tubal pregnancy. Management and treatment of psychiatric emergencies including acute psychosis and overdose.
