Emergency Medicine Physicians Needed in Kayenta, AZ!

Arc Health is seeking physicians with Emergency Medicine experience to assist an Emergency Department in Kayenta, AZ, serving the native Navajo community.

Position: Emergency Medicine Physician Setting: Level 5 Trauma ED Location: Kayenta, AZ Facility: Kayenta Health Center - Indian Health Services Start Date: July 2025 Contract Duration: 6 months to 1 year, with potential for extension

Shifts: Flexible schedules, offering options such as:

• 7 AM to 7 PM (day shifts)

• 9 AM to 9 PM (morning)

• 11 AM to 11 PM (afternoon)

• 2 PM to 2 AM (evening shifts)

• 7 PM to 7 AM (night shifts)

Annual Volume: 18,000–21,000 patients

Duties Include:

• Major trauma cases, including fractures of multiple extremities, stab wounds, open wounds of the chest, abdomen, and extremities; penetrating trauma; head trauma; suspected spinal injuries; lacerations; amputations

• Major medical emergencies, such as cardiac arrest, myocardial infarction, respiratory failure, shock, diabetic ketoacidosis

• Obstetrical emergencies, including deliveries of single or multiple births, acute pregnancy complications, and vaginal bleeding

• Pediatric emergencies (25% of patient volume)

Requirements:

• Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine or Family Practice, with at least 18 months of experience

• Hold a valid medical license from any U.S. state or territory

• Certifications: Required- ATLS, ACLS, PALS, BLS; NRP and ALSO strongly recommended for Family Practice-trained providers

• Clean background
