- Other Details: The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 3 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours only. This locum Emergency Medicine opportunity requires providers who are willing to work night shifts only; providers available for days only will not be considered. Candidates must have an active California license and be ABEM or AOBEM certified, or board eligible within 5 years of residency—ABIM or ABFM will not be accepted. Candidates must be board certified or eligible within 5 years. The average patient volume is 110 in a 24-hour period. Guaranteed hours are 8, with overtime applied after 12 hours (OT must be pre approved by the medical director by the end of the shift).

Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage a wide range of acute medical conditions
- Collaborate with ED staff to deliver timely, high-quality patient care
- Accurately document patient encounters in the EMR
- Adhere to facility protocols and procedures
Qualifications
- Board certified or board eligible (within 5 years of residency) in ABEM or AOBEM
- ABIM and ABFM certifications not accepted
- Emergency Medicine experience preferred
Working Hours
- Guaranteed 8 hours per shift
- Overtime applies after 12 hours (must be preapproved by the medical director)
- Average patient volume: 110 in 24 hours
