Emergency Medicine Locums Physician - Pennsylvania, Flexible 12-Hour Shifts
Hospital-based Emergency Medicine role in Pennsylvania; flexible 12-hour shifts with no call.
Highlights
- Only 4 shifts/month; you choose the schedule
- No call required; full downtime between shifts
- Block scheduling available for extended coverage

Practice Setting
- Inpatient Emergency Department with Cerner EMR
- ~19,000 annual ED visits
- Work alongside APPs; MD signs off on charts
- Mix of trauma and medical cases
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts: 7a-7p or 7p-7a
- Open to night shifts preferred
- Minimum of 4 shifts per month
Cases and Procedures
- All ages: pediatric through geriatric
- Common EM procedures: intubation, central lines, chest tubes, laceration repair, I&D, reductions
Requirements
- Board Certified or Eligible in Emergency Medicine (within 5 years)
- EM residency completed
- Active PA license or IMLC LOQ
- ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS required
