📍 Location: Macomb, IL
🛏️ ED Volume: ~14,600/year (~40/day)
🗓️ Schedule: 12-hour shifts (8a–8p & 8p–8a)
📆 Start Date: Flexible

Job Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients of all ages
Work 12-hour shifts in a 10-bed ED, day/night shifts
Collaborate with APPs and specialty teams for efficient patient management
Use Cerner EMR and dictation tools for accurate documentation
Participate in EDAP and Acute Stroke Ready Hospital protocols
Manage approximately 40 patients per day with a 7% admission rate
Ensure timely and effective care in alignment with hospital standards
Qualifications
ABEM Board Certified (required)
2+ years of EM experience
IL License or IMLC with LOQ
Clean malpractice history
DEA license
Working Hours
Shift Length: 12 hours
Shift Times:
Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Night Shift: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Skills
Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM)
Minimum 2 years of clinical EM experience
Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills
Proficient with Cerner EMR and documentation tools
Adaptability to fast-paced and varied emergency department environments
