We are seeking a Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician in Massachusetts.

Position Type: Locum Tenens

Rate: Open & Negotiable
Shift: 12-hour shifts, day and night
Start Date: June 2025
End Date: Ongoing
Position Details:
- Patient Population: Emergency Department patients
- Setting: Community hospital
- Responsibilities: Emergency medicine coverage, supervising APPs, responding to in-house codes (secondary to ED emergencies)
- Required Procedures: Airway management, EKG interpretations
- EMR System: Epic
- Support Staff: APPs, hospitalists for admissions
- Days Per Month: 8-10 shifts in June, increasing to 10-12 shifts per month from July onwards
- On-Call/Weekends: Required
Compensation Package:
- Mileage reimbursement for local providers
- No reimbursement for credentialing costs or application fees
Requirements:
- Board Certified (ABEM or AOBEM) or Board Eligible with in 5 years of residency - Required
- Active Massachusetts License at the time of name clear - Required
- Provider must be local (within driving distance) - Required
