Locums - Hampton, Virginia, Emergency Medicine Float Pool Openings
Clinical Role:

Start Month: ASAP - 90-120 days for credentialing
Est length of assignment: Unknown – potentially long term
Must be willing to work nights to be considered
Minimum # of shifts acceptable: 3-4 shifts a month
Certification Requirements - Docs: ABEM, AOBEM
The facility will not accept alternative boards
Residency Trained Requirements
ACLS (if requesting Moderate Sedation) & 24 months of CME
Physician Shift Times: CarePlex: 6a-3:30p, 11a-8:30p, 3:30p-1a, 8:30p-6a, Pt. Warwick: 7a-7p, 7p-7a
Annual Volume: Ranges from 31-63k
Patients per hour: 1.5-2 pph
No Trauma Level Designation
No Scribe Coverage
ED beds & fast track beds: Ranges from 19-40
Special Services: Certified Stroke Center, Free Standing ED
Backup Specialties: CarePlex: stroke center, OB, Int Cards, vascular, GI, surgery, ortho (with hand, spine), 2-3 days a week of neurosurgery
nephrology, neurology (in addition to telestroke), hematology/oncology, urology, pulmonary/critical care, and podiatry. Pt. Warwick: same call availability as CP; STEMI will go to another facility.
EMR: EPIC
