VieMed Healthcare Staffing is seeking a highly qualified Physician to provide exceptional emergency care in Twentynine Palms, California. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality emergency medical care during 12-hour rotating day and night shifts. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting. Required Skills:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited U.S. or Canadian medical school
  • Board certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
  • Minimum of two years of recent practice in emergency medicine within the last three years
  • Residency training in an accredited Emergency Medicine program
  • Certification in ACLS and PALS
  • Current, unrestricted medical license in the U.S.
  • Proven experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center and academic emergency medicine preferred

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience teaching residents and interns
  • Publications or scholarly work in emergency medicine
  • Membership in relevant specialty societies

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution
  • At least two years of full-time emergency medicine practice, including trauma and academic settings

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends, with uncompensated meal breaks
  • Valid certifications in ACLS and PALS
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
