Direct Hire Emergency Medicine Physician Role in Artesia, New Mexico
As an Emergency Medicine Physician, you will be expected to practice evidenced based medicine in line with Hospital's core values and mission/vision.
Maintaining regular communication with hospital leadership and nursing directors to align departmental goals and strategies.
The ER is community-based, catering to rural individuals who deeply value the care they receive. We offer a mix of modern technology alongside the challenges often present in rural NM medical practice
14,000 Annual Volume
Non-Designated Trauma
Prefer ABEM/AOBEM Certified
BC/BE FP; IM; EM; AAPS
Will consider Non-Boarded with ER experience
ACLS, ATLS, PALS if not ABEM/AOBEM Certified
Shifts are 7p-7a or 7p-7a
Single coverage, no midlevel support.
Must have Active NM license, DEA, & NM controlled substance registration.
Procedures include but are not limited to: Endotracheal intubation, central/arterial line placement, paracentesis/thoracentesis, arthrocentesis, lumbar puncture, tube/needle/finger thoracotomy, ACLS, ATLS, chemical/electric cardioversion, closed fracture reductions, moderate sedation, vaginal deliveries.
